movement

This week we focused on motion. We set the shutter speed to be slower so the camera could capture movement.

depth/repetitionn

For this particular assignment we shot photos of specific repetition and of foreground and background.

depth

We photographed lines leading into the background of the picture, creating a form of depth. In the pictures, there are lines that attract your eyes and lead them to the back.

rule of thirds

We used the graph lines on the camera to see the subjects and marks in our photos and aligned them with it. We put them into thirds, making a great balance to the overall picture.

active observation

We took various pictures from different angles and then uploaded them. We then edited them with either photoshop or iPhoto and uploaded them on our blogs. Instead of just "saying cheese" and taking the picture kind of photo, we took pictures from different perspectives to see in new ways.
