personal series 4

For this series, I wanted to make my collages really simple. I wanted just one main subject, and then a background that worked well with it. I tried to make a pathway for the viewer's eyes to follow, but it didn't work out for all of them. I wanted to make them interesting without saying or putting much in. For my next set I'll probably go back to putting a lot more into them if I have enough time.

  1. Grace,
I like this set. Instead of a lot of pictures, you had two or three put together into a mini collage. I think that these still get the point or image across when people see it, and the editing is done well. Great Work!

  2. Nice work this week. These photos are very simplistic, but they still tell a story. I would say I like the more busy and more collaged pictures, but this set works well together and its a whole new idea. They all have a similar feel and as a set really come together. Keep up the good work.

  3. Nice photos this week Grace! Even though these photos only possess two main features--a subject and a background--they work really well together to tell a story that is interpretive to your audience. Additionally, you must have put a lot of thought into matching the subjects with the background to make it match well. All the collages also work together to make a common theme which makes this set seem very cohesive and complete. Good job!

  4. Good work this week! I really like how the collages are organized-subject and backround-and how they go together. They are simple, but no too simple. good job!
